Poornima Shenoy

India Semiconductor Association (IESA)
Poornima Shenoy is the founding President of IESA. In this role, she
oversees IESA operations and works as a member of its Executive
Council on strategic issues relating to the Indian
semiconductor and systems, design and manufacturing industry
She has over twenty years of experience as an entrepreneur and
a business professional. She has participated in governmental
committees and is an invited speaker at both national and
international seminars. Her special area of interest is in
encouraging women professionals both at the graduate school
level and in the corporate world.
Poornima has been awarded the prestigious Chevening
Scholarship for Women in Leadership & Management by the
British Foreign & Commonwealth Office. She is co-founder of
the group Women in Business & Technology (WBT).
Poornima is an Economics graduate from Mount Carmel College,
Bangalore and holds an MBA from TAPMI, Manipal.
