November 14, 2011, Bangalore, India: IESA, the
apex trade body representing the Indian semiconductor and
electronics industry in collaboration with UK Trade &
Investment, (UKTI - the UK Government organization) is taking a
business delegation to UK from November 16- 18 2011. The twin
objectives of this delegation are creating a larger visibility
for the Indian electronics industry and showcasing areas of
collaboration between the two countries.
PVG Menon, President, IESA said “For the last couple of year IESA
and UKTI have been working together to establish and drive
UK-India platform focusing on technology, innovation, business
and investment opportunities and enable companies to network for
augmenting commercial opportunities through collaboration and
partnership. This delegation is a step forward in that
direction.”
The delegation has been planned during the international event- TechWorld 2011
(TW11) organized by UKTI. It will be held at London on November
16 & 17 2011. The event showcases UK science and technology to a
global audience and provides a forum for key stakeholders to
discuss technology strategy, innovation and international
collaboration.
Apart from their participation at the TW11, the visiting
delegates will get an opportunity to showcase their
products/services and have networking meetings with business
leaders, technology companies and business schools. Exclusive
meetings at London & Cambridge have been organized by UKTI for
the delegates.
The delegation consists of Secretary IT, Govt of Assam, senior
officials from AMTRON, Guwahati, senior executives from
companies like Leo Integrated Technologies, HCL Technologies,
Infotech Enterprises, Embitel Technologies (TVS), Elite
Computers.

System Design and Manufacturing ESDM industry and has
represented it since 2005. It has around 160 members –both
domestic and multinational enterprises. IESA is committed towards
building global awareness for the Indian ESDM industry and
