Dan Weed serves as Senior
Vice President of Customer Engineering at Tensilica –
the leader in configurable and extensible processors. He
is responsible for organizing and managing Tensilica's technical
support, product QA and customer engineering operations.
Dan brought to Tensilica more than 25
years of experience in design center management, marketing
and engineering at major semiconductor and related EDA companies.
Beginning his career at Texas Instruments and holding senior
level positions at Cadence Design Systems, LSI Logic and
Fujitsu Microelectronics.
He holds a B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering
Technology from the University of Houston and has one patent
pending.
