Kiranbir (KB) Nag is a
Vice President for SVB India Advisors Pvt. Ltd. In his role,
Nag helps U.S.-based venture capitalists and technology
companies leverage opportunities in India by exposing them
to SVB’s connections, expertise and clientele in the
region. He also works with local entrepreneurs to help them
make connections with SVB’s clientele in the U.S.
venture capital community. Prior to joining SVB, Nag was
vice president and head of South India for Ambit Corporate
Finance Private Ltd., a boutique investment bank headquartered
in Mumbai. There, Nag was an advisor on mergers & acquisitions,
private equity and structured debt raisings for clients
in the pharmaceutical, IT services, consumer durables and
financial services industries. Previously, Nag served as
associate director of ANZ Investment Bank and as a manager
at Arthur Andersen, both in Mumbai. Nag holds a bachelor’s
degree in commerce from Sydenham College at the University
of Bombay and is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the
Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
