Mrs Lakshmi Parthasarathy is Principal Secretary to the Government, Industry & Commerce Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh. She joined the IAS in 1980 and since then has been instrumental in developing Hyderabad’s infrastructure. The Necklace road around Hussainsagar Lake is her creation.

Mrs Lakshmi Parthasarathy holds a MA degree in Economics from Osmania University.
