Ron Soicher is Director
of Alliances & Business Development for IBM's Systems
and Technology Group. Ron joined IBM in 1993 and was initially
involved in leading the strategy to transition IBM from
a captive semiconductor supplier to a merchant market player.
During the past 13 years as an executive at IBM, he has
been involved in a broad range of engagements focusing on
global alliance strategy, structure, and new business development.
Prior to joining IBM, Ron spent 20 years
at Motorola Semiconductor where he held executive positions
in Global Account Sales, Product Marketing, and led the
CMOS ASIC Business Unit. Ron received his MBA from New York
University and his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
from the City College of New York.
