Here's a major forecast snafu: Citing better-than-expected DRAM figures, the Semiconductor
Industry Association (SIA) has revised its worldwide semiconductor sales figures for 2007.
The data reflects upward revisions in the DRAM sales data for the period January through
September 2007. The revisions were made by the World Semiconductor Trade Statistics (WSTS).
