Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS), a leading IT company of India, held a press conference in
Tokyo Nov 12, 2007 and announced a plan to expand its embedded system business in Japan.
The company will build new research and development bases and foster engineers as well as

The number of mobile users using code division multiple access technology rose 1.94 million in
October with the total CDMA base at 52.99 million as on October 31. Tata Teleservices saw a
sharp month-on-month rise of 19.4 per cent in its additions with the company adding 711,245
users in October compared with 595,418 CDMA mobile users a month ago, according to the
Association of Unified Telecom Service Providers of India.

Revenues for global RFID markets will jump to $8.4 billion in 2012, up 21 percent CAGR from
this year's $3.8 billion, according to ABI Research. "Given the recent amount of activity and
anticipation surrounding RFID technology, one might be tempted to believe the RFID market
has been experiencing explosive growth," says research director Michael Liard. "But while
uptake of full-scale RFID systems remains slower than many in the industry had hoped, steady
growth continues. There is an overall sense of cautious optimism in the market.
